Hunger and thirst for righteousness

Lord, you said, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” I seek you now.

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1
6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
- Jesus speaks of those who “hunger and thirst for righteousness.” If you are honest, what are you hungry for most days?
- What has dulled your appetite for God: things you fill yourself with that leave no room for him?
- Is there a place where you are content to stay a little in the wrong, and no longer long to be made right?
His word
Jesus, you said, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”
Receive
Make me hungry for what is right in your sight. I come to you to be filled, and I receive your promise.
