Forgive as you are forgiven
Sermon on the Mount
Lord, you said, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” I seek you now.
Jeremiah 29:13
Holy Spirit, open my eyes, that I may see wonderful things in your word.
Psalm 119:18
Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know you better.
Ephesians 1:17
14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Jesus says, “If you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Whom have you not forgiven?
- Is there a wrong you say you have forgiven but still replay and hold over the person?
- He says that if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. Do you take that warning seriously, or explain it away?
