Sermon on the Mount
Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know you better.

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1
19Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Jesus says, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Looking at where your time and money go, where is your heart?
- What are you storing up on earth that you would be afraid to lose?
- He speaks of moths, vermin and thieves. Which of the things you work hardest for will not last?
His word
Jesus, you said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Loosen my grip on what will not last. I store my treasure in you.
