6Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
- Jesus says, “Do not give dogs what is sacred.” What has God made sacred in your life, and do you handle it with reverence?
- Is there something precious he has given you, his word, your faith, your body, that you treat carelessly?
- Where have you pressed holy things on someone who was only mocking them, when wisdom would have waited?
His word
Jesus, you said, “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs.”
Receive
Give me reverence for what is holy and wisdom to know how to share it. I receive your wisdom.
