What does Psalms 81:10 mean?

Psalms 81:10 presents God as the one who brought Israel out of Egypt and now invites the people to receive what he will give them. The promise rests on the relationship expressed in the words “the LORD thy God.”

“Open thy mouth wide” pictures a person ready to be fed. The image moves from Israel’s past rescue to God’s promise to fill that open mouth. After the warning against worshipping another god in verse 9, the speaker identifies himself as the God who acted for Israel.
