Numbers 24:11 shows Balak telling Balaam to leave because, although Balak planned to reward Balaam with great honor, the LORD has prevented Balaam from receiving it. Balak is disappointed that Balaam did not curse Israel as he wanted, so he withdraws his promised reward.
