What does Psalms 37:12 mean?

Psalms 37:12 describes a person who does wrong setting himself against someone who is just. The verse shows both a hidden threat and an open display of anger: the wicked person makes plans against the just person and bares his hostility.

The picture of grinding or baring teeth makes the anger vivid. After verse 11 speaks of the meek enjoying peace, verse 12 turns to the hostility they may face.
