What does 2 Chronicles 9:7 mean?

In 2 Chronicles 9:7, the queen of Sheba tells Solomon that the people who serve him are fortunate. They have the chance to hear his wisdom regularly, while she has traveled to meet him and discover it for herself.

The words “stand continually before thee” picture attendants at the king’s court, ready to serve him. The queen has just said that Solomon’s wisdom surpasses what she had heard about him (verse 6). She now turns her attention to the people who experience that wisdom firsthand.
