What does Ezekiel 20:43 mean?

Ezekiel 20:43 describes what God says the people of Israel will do when they are back in their land. They will look honestly at the wrongs they have done and feel deep revulsion toward themselves because of those actions.

God is speaking through Ezekiel to the people of Israel. After God speaks of bringing them into their land in verse 42, “there” places their remembering in that restored setting. “In your own sight” pictures their judgment of themselves, not merely someone else’s accusation against them.
