What does Job 36:7 mean?

Job 36:7 says that God continues to watch over people who do what is right. Elihu, the speaker, describes God giving them a place of lasting honor alongside kings, using the throne as a picture of high status.

Elihu is speaking to Job about how God treats people. The image of God’s eyes pictures steady attention, while the throne pictures a public place of authority and honor.
